The Tauri Group Awarded the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense Program Engineering and Technical Support (OPETS) Medical Domain Contract
The Tauri Group, LLC is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of six prime contractors to provide technical and program management support services in the Medical Domain to the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD). The cumulative total of task orders to be awarded competitively to all awardees across Domains could be as high as $495 million over the next three years.
JPEO-CBD is responsible for research, development, acquisition, fielding, and life cycle support of chemical and biological defense equipment and medical countermeasures. Eight Joint Project Managers direct and manage the acquisition and fielding of chemical and biological detection and reconnaissance systems, individual and collective protection systems, decontamination systems, information management systems, medical devices, drugs and vaccines, and installation and force protection systems.

The Tauri Group will provide technical expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry, biosurveillance, and engineering, as well as relevant program management experience in support of navigating DoD acquisition and FDA regulations for medical countermeasure development, assay development and qualification, biological event situational awareness, and decision support.
